Word Building is a popular activity in Medulla. The client recognizes the picture on the screen and forms the correct word from scattered letters. The activity combines memory, attention, vocabulary, and natural hand movement.

How Word Building works in Medulla

The activity worker
starts the activity
On the laptop, they select Word Building and set control for the left or right hand.

The client recognizes the picture
and looks for the letters
There is a picture and scattered letters on the screen. The client identifies the word they need to build.

The client moves the letters
to the correct position
The letter is picked up automatically when the hand moves over it, or by clenching the hand into a fist. The client then places it in the correct position in the same way.
